OUR VISION
At Monument Church our vision is the people. From the long-time members to the folks who show up for the very first time, each person has been created for a purpose that is first and foremost to glorify God. The church is the body of Christ and God’s vision is to see Christ manifest in every area of life on earth. It will happen one day! That is guaranteed. Until it does, we give ourselves passionately and with great conviction to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.
So, our vision is not land or buildings since the apostle Peter tells us that you yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house. We understand that house to be a refuge for the lost and broken because the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in Spirit. In many ways, we are like a hospital that contains, not only those in need of healing, but also skilled practitioners who are uniquely capable of helping those in need. Our aim is to comfort and care for people all on the way to activating and mobilizing them for this great Kingdom calling to make disciples of all nations.
